Katherine Wei is Contact AJ’s CEO and founder. Her matchmaking skill is well known in Australian and Asian society as she has been continuously matched singles all across Australia.
However, Katherine is far more than that.
Katherine was recruited into the Chinese army during a turbulent period in Chinese politics. During her time in the army, among many roles, she worked as a nurse and a guard for Chairman Mao’s former wife Madam Jiang. These experiences gave Katherine a deeper level of understanding of people, and insight into human relationships. The challenges she faced during that period helped form her focus to achieve and strive to help others reach their ultimate life goals.
Katherine immigrated to Australia in 1985, and studied at CCAE in Canberra University, followed by an advanced diploma in business at Sydney Private Ladies’ College. Katherine started working as a nurse while searching for a career where she could use her skills to help more people. It was by chance that she was introduced to, and began working with a matchmaking consultancy, and immediately her interpersonal skill and rich life experience marked her out as a gifted matchmaker.
Katherine has since expanded her services and clientele greatly. She often speaks to women’s groups about the secrets of her success, in both her own personal life and career. She is passionate about transcending cultural boundaries. She has worked to make this an integral part of Contact AJ’s philosophy, which has served to help thousands of couples build strong and long-lasting relationships.
She has published many articles in the media about cross-cultural love, and regularly gives presentations and speaks to Australian and Asian women about relationships. She has continually been a strong supporter of the Red Cross and the Children’s Hospital Westmead charities.
Recently, Katherine has started to make more use of her skills in helping people gain self-confidence, learning and deepening self-love and ultimately finding real love, whether it’s a partnership, family or self-love. As a result, all of her customers have expressed their gratitude for how she has improved their lives, character, and personality.
As of now, Katherine is still doing her best to keep improving her skills and knowledge in order to give more services to all her clients and people who need her guidance. And she will keep on doing so.

Our first encounter will be about you, what you need in a relationship, your goals, and your challenges. This is to deepen our understanding of what we need to do to maximize our service to you. With 37 years of matchmaking experience, we have learned a lot about our clientele, thus we are able to pinpoint your key selling point to the matches, and basically, we help you sell yourself to your dates.

Matching you with potential dates
In matchmaking, you will be saving all your time searching and finding real and genuine dates. As our members will go through screening and direct interviews with our consultants, you can rest assured.
Our matchmakers will go through our board database to search for the most suitable match and will send you the profile, and all you need to do is connect to them.

Feedback on the matches
Our consultants and team will do all the preparations, insights, and feedback to help you understand your date so you can know a bit about them a bit beforehand. And after that, we will also get to both of you about the feedback on the dates to share our insights and advice. This is a crucial part of our services as this helps us know where to go for your next step and provides coaching if needed.
