How do you know he/she is the right one

How do you know he/she is theright one?

How to find your perfect match

Hey dear,

How are you today? The weather is quite chilly and I am hoping that you have a perfect match to set up the fire and warm up your heart and soul. (I know I’m being silly 😉

But really, I feel so blessed to have my partner to go through this possibly coldest winter with; and I hope you do too.

But if you are still looking and wonder if he/she is “the perfect match”, I am more than happy to share my expert point of view with you.

Being in a relationship takes two people’s commitment and it’s not easy. There are many things that need to be considered when you want to move on to the next level.

Here are some signs that you might actually found the one:

1.    You feel incredibly comfortable together

This is the most important part of the relationship. You want to live your life comfortably and not being in a relationship that suffocates you. If you are not comfortable in the relationship and couldn’t be yourself, you need to check on what’s the matter.

2.    You are supportive to each other

If your relationship is meant to be, both of you will be the biggest supporter of each other. Cheering when someone succeeded, and console and motivate each other during the bad time.

3.    You face the challenges together

If your partner runs away every time an issue arises, you need to ask yourself if you want to be with that kind of person. ‘The right one’ will always be there for you, no matter what challenges occurred in your relationship. They are prepared to fight it alongside you.

4.    You have the same values and goals

Sharing the same values is the key to a long-lasting and healthy relationship. When you and your significant other are aligned on your core values, that’s the kind of relationship you want to be in.
You may come from different cultures or have different preferences, but it’s critical that both of you agree on what matters most in life. For example, if you want to have children, but they don’t want to unless you both agreed on it at some point, that relationship is bound to end.

5.    You respect each other’s opinions and compromise

Respect is one of those strange things that are often unsaid, yet you can tell when it’s not there. Your perfect match will respect your opinions, think about your feelings and discuss with you before making major life decisions.
Your perfect match will also be open to compromise and negotiate so you can reach mutual decisions. If your partner insists on making all of the decisions without thinking about you, they aren’t the one for you.

6.    You want them to be happy

When you are in a happy and content relationship, you will want to do anything to make your partner happy, even when it means eating that salty fried rice and say it tasted excellent or watching a football match together on Saturday night. Wanting your partner to be happy, even if it is inconvenient for you, is a sign of true love.

7.    You complement each other.

One of you might be obsessively tidy and punctual, while the other one is always messy and procrastinate most of the time. While these differences may appear to be a catastrophe on the surface, they may really help you balance your relationship life.
The tidy person will learn to be less perfectionist, and the messy one will learn to be more disciplined and punctual. This is what they mean by “opposites attraction”.

8.    They add value to your life and makes you feel good about yourself

Many relationships drain one other’s vitality, leaving neither partner free to be themselves or reveal their real thoughts. These are extremely unhealthy relationships.
Instead, you’re on the right track if you feel like you can be yourself in your relationship. Remember that you are already enough by yourself; your partner should only be there to add extra value and not completely all over you.
Being with your perfect match will enhance your life. Even just by making you smile. Of course, not every day will be sunshine and rainbows, but if they bring value to your life as a whole, you’re on the right track.

To find and be with your perfect match, first you need to let your guard down. Recognize that neither you nor others are flawless. You can, however, become your own perfect pair if you work together. If you think that you have found your perfect match, do not hesitate to really fight for it.

Yours in love and happiness,
